Sharing some of our journey ~ ๐ฃ๐ฎ๐๐ ๐ญ๐ฑ ๐ ๐ผ๐ป๐๐ต๐ almost sounds like a song or movie.
Stephen persevered through cancer & I through rare head surgeries & both of us encountered two heartbreaking funerals: my mother & his father.
Yet, amid unspeakable feelings that changed us & the longest of months, this past season is a testament full of the sweetest, most precious moments.
Why? How?
I believe that regardless of who any of us are, if we find ourselves humbly deep-diving with inner transformational change that shifts attitudes of heart to set the bar high โขin โขany โขendeavor & continually developing perspectives with a profound awareness of belonging in genuine diverse connections + the variety in serving others that add value, well, ultimately makes day-to-day life, peaceful & fulfilling.
There’s indeed a working in us first that eventually works through us as we embrace & cultivate the Golden Rule.
Like many others, when life surprises us, we may not have been fully prepared by this past season, but we are discovering & even rediscovering ourselves personally & as a couple by leaning into the truth of our reality: faith, hope, and love.
Like you, I have a reassuring determination to keep standing, continue evolving, and share life with others.
